Love those "signatures" I guess better than many out there. Then again one's the GOAT and one is trying hard.

Tired and trembling I am descending, will I have to stay here and live this life again?

i was going to place a bid on it, then i remembered my mortgage payment on the island i just bought last week. ...
i don't know whats more upsetting, that the start bid was at $7800 or that it got that high or how another is listed for $370k

Two things:
1 - I wish I had one to sell right now.
2 - If I did, it wouldn't be free "shipping" at that price, it would be free "delivery", as I would drive or fly to wherever to hand deliver the item.

A quote from today's Sports Collectors Daily blog article about a recent Goldin auction (2021):
"...investors and celebrities looking to buy into the alternative asset class sports cards..."
Another quote, from "Five Hundreth Pointes of Good Husbandrie" by Thomas Tusser (1573):
A foole & his money,
be soone at debate:
which after with sorow,
repents him to late.

Just think what you could get for a Thomas Tusser autograph, Kurt! (By the way, I already checked ebay. They dont have any)

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
