First, let me preface the below experience by saying, I really enjoy trading here! With the help of
many great trading partners, I have completed over 200 sets in my 4 years here. I consider
myself to be a patient, conscientious, and respectful trader. I respect traders, that take their time, to
send their cards, using their money, to trade with me. That's why I don't believe a trade is complete,
until feedback is left. It's a sign of affirmation, appreciation, and respect. Dont get me wrong, there are
times I have received chewed up PWEs, damaged cards, or no cards at all. Poor packaging, damaged cards,
lost trades-I'veworked all of those out in the transaction manager, no need to make that part of feedback.
I've made 1021 trades here and I've left 1021 positive feedbacks. That's why I'm having a hard time with
this trade.
I recently made a trade that began a month ago, 2/19. The trade involved 36/37 cards, so both parties
sent in bubble mailer. I mailed mine same day, 2/19, and left a transaction message with tracking number.
He received his cards on 2/24 and marked "package received". I sent a transaction message on 2/24 asking
for my tracking number, which he sent. I sent another transaction message to thank him and explained that
I had several issues with trades coming from the east coast, particularly going through DC, PA, and NJ.
I started checking on my package 3/3. It had arrived in the "black hole" of Pennsylvania on 2/27, but had
not moved since. On 3/6, I sent a transaction message letting him know and said he might want to send an
inquiry to USPS. I received no response, so on 3/8, I went to my local PO to put in an inquiry and met with a
supervisor there. She was able to see online that a whole container of packages had arrived on 2/27 and had
not moved. She sent an email to the Lehigh Pennsylvania PO, hoping to get things moving. On 3/9, I sent a
message to the trader letting him know what l found out, telling him the supervisor said it would help if he also
send an inquiry in. I got no response. Later that day, 3/9, my package began moving, and finally arrived on
3/11, thanks to the local PO supervisor. No communication from the other trader but the one on 2/24 with
tracking number.
When I opened the package, everything was protected, and I began checking them off the transaction list.
Unfortunately, I was missing two cards, and an extra card was sent. So, that night, 3/11, I sent a message,
letting the trader know I'd like to get the missing cards and about the extra card. No response. He was on the
site several days, so I know he saw the message. On 3/16, I sent a message and asked if he had mailed the
two missingcards, that I wanted nothing more than what was agreed upon, and that I'd like a response.
Still no response, so this morning I let him know that I'd wait until 3/31 for the missing cards before taking
any action.
Any one see how this could end in a positive way??
