Hello. It took me forever to respond. Lots going on. I apologize.
Here's a link to my most recent, albeit, most boring, display case. https://imgur.com/10DzHge It's of the first black player on every team. This one was created from an old cassettte holder I no longer had use for. Because it was a cassette holder.
I think I can copy my T207 Cubs display: https://imgur.com/a/8xAwXPL
Don't know if those worked.Whenever I try to post picture or links, they tend to go away....
I have two other displays, all handmade from wood. One just shelves, with no back, just hung on the wall. It's huge, about 3 1/2 feet by 4 1/2 feet. It holds about 150 cards. There's a groove I chiselled into each shelf so the cards don't slip.
Then there's the Merkle's Boner Collection, which is on board that looks like a baseball diamond, with sandpaper for basepaths, 3D bases, and green felt for the grass. They're all really cool. To me.
Although I'm no carpenter, I'm pretty handy and now take great joy in building my own displays. It takes a bit of ingenuity, but very little money on supplies and it isn't that hard.
But perhaps that's not what you're looking for.
Regardless, I hope you find a fun and accessbile way to display your collection. Because it's the ones on display that people tend to look at the most, not the ones in binders or boxes.
Happy collecting!
