i just finished a trade using the selection method. Wierdest thing. All cards were on my want list and picked through the selection. Some them went to my collection and some didn't. The cards that didn't don't even show as wanted any more.

Any chance the other guy manually removed them from his collection, unaware that the site would do it for him? I've had that happen before. Perhaps the ones that moved to you were cards that he had two of.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I guess it's possible. I usually just check a card or 2 to make sure they go into my collection. but this time the first one I checked wasn't there so I checked more. I guess now I have to go back and check other trades. It's wierd though that the cards were not on my want list anymore but not in the collection either.

Also, you can probably check your recently collected cards in your history to see which cards went into your collection at that time, without looking each one up individually. I think that is an option.

I think you are right. It seems like the most common cards were the ones that went into the collection. Probably because he had doubles of them. thanks for your help

I find that I have to double check the data base after every trade I make. I have had trades recently where the other trader ended up not having a card that was origunally in the trade, so I'd have to manually remove it. I have had instances though, where a couple of the cards did not make the move into the inventory while others did. I haven't figured out why this happened. I have also had trades where each step in the transaction process was not properly used, and cards didn't change from the data base inventory, and I had to remove and add them individually. It is kind of a hassle, but I have so many cards listed, I want the lists as acurate as possible for trades and keeping my collection up to date, on haves, wants and trades.

I think I have a similar issue coming up. My "In transit" cards show 74 yet I have over 100 cards coming my way in three trades. It is not even one trade not being party of the In transit; there are no two trades that total 74. I suspect a glich in the system.

I've come to realize that putting in the hard work right off the bat, pays off in the long run. By that I mean, I log every card I have, be it doubles or not and then let the database formulas do the rest. Taking short cuts in the beginning makes it a pain during the deal IMHO.
