I really dig a lot of oddball sets. I recently nabbed some 75 Kelloggs, 89 SI for Kids, 92 GE Quarterbacks, 84 Hygrades Expos, 89 Classic, an 89 Whitesox oddball set, an 89 Veryfine Barry Bonds, some Kahns Barry Larkin and Keith Hernandez, and even a couple of 64 Topps Standups. I am also scouring for the hard to find 1990 Score Mcdonalds cards.
The point of this rant is that I love these cards and believe that this type of stuff to is a huge void in current card collecting.
Do others miss these type of fun and random cards? I sure do.....

Yeah, I miss the Food Issues. Cards found on or in food packages. Not only did you get cards but some tasty food to boot.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Those are probably my favorite sets to collect.

I know Utz chips had baseball cards in 2019 and 2020 but has there been any other food card sets recently?

I have/had a lot of them. They moved very slowly until last month when one guy purchased a big hand full of them.
It surprised me that they do not go faster.

I checked the 2023 database. Kahns had a Reds set, and the current champs had a stadium giveaway set. That was about it for 2023 oddball. Ouch....

I love the '70s Kelloggs cards and the early 90s Yoo-Hoo cards. I have a lot of those small Fleer box sets from the 80s. Kay-Bee Toys had a small box set every year. I wish I could find cards in my cereal again.

Funny timing. I'm knee-deep in the middle of my collection reconciliation. Last night I started on my oddball/food/team set collection. So tonight I'll be hitting up Drake's, Bazooka and all the other greats.

In Japan, at least this was still true last year, Calbee was still doing Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) cards on snack size bags of potato chips. 2 in a foil pack, pack glued to outside of bag. A bit hard to extract the cards and keep in good shape without a scissors to open the foil pack, but what fun to get baseball cards. Of course if I was patient enough to eat the chips first before getting to the prize maybe the foil pack would be easy to open--I don't know.
Heading back to Japan in a few weeks, so I'm hopeful that the 2024's will be out by then.
