Tis the season. I expect in the coming days and weeks we will see a few more posts on this thread. There seem to be a few Santas around here or at least some of his card elves.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

I just ran across this post... I don’t have anyone’s address but I’d be happy to play this game. Fun way to get those duplicates out to a caring home. I wish I had better trade bait but I’v just stated collecting again.

I really, really, really need to thank someone from Canada, you didn't add an address or name just came in PWE with Stamps and I can't even make out the city but seems to be Quebec, this was totally uneccepted and amazing. 2 cards one an Autographed 1990-91 Pro set Gordie Howe in Gold ink and a 1963 Parkhurst Larry Jeffrey in NM condition, thanks so much PM so I can surely do the same. There is some awesome Santas out there

Let us know when you find out.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Big thank you to SaintOrm. I won several of his recent ebay auctions, but there were way more cards in the box than what I had bought, including some Pacers I needed. Thanks a lot, Kurt!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
