When I read some of your posts about pricing, I saw that many of you look for what an item has recently sold for. Where exactly is that located. I can find new listings for a card and what they are asking for in prices, but not sure where to find the already sold.

after you search look in the left column. Scroll down a little and you will see show only sold items.

I have been on Ebay for years and clicking on that "sold only" listings does not always work correctly, at least for me. As a test, I just checked on a card I sold last month and it does not show. I checked later and it was there. Go figure. But for the most part, it is reliable.

It may not show all of the sold items, but at least it doesn't show unsold items as sold. Just clicking on Completed Items will show all items that have ended, and you can see what sellers are not getting for that item.

You will have to sort through a ton of unrelated items, but you usually find what you are looking for and at least it is a sold price as opposed to asking. Sometimes it amazes me to see what people are asking compared to the sold prices. Cards that people are asking $20 or $30 were sold for $4.15 and what not. It is eye opening how many people are selling with rosy glasses and hopes of getting over paid, and then others see everyone else asking $20 so they figure, why not me.

Recently I saw somewhere on the internet that there was a site that you could see what the best offer amount accepted was on ebay. I'm sure that isn't what it's called but hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about. Anyway, I can't seem to find the information on here. Anyone know what that site is?

The completed and sold item filters only work on title only searches. If you've searched title & description, they won't be available. You can filter the sold items search by category though.

I tried using it as I'd purchased a '70 Topps Bob Hayes card after having a hard time working a deal for one, but I couldn't get any information to see what it had sold for recently. Any tips on how to use it?
