O.K., I'm confused...

I was entering cards from my storage boxes, (1994 Leaf) and I put what I had in.  Dupes & everything.  

It said I entered 293 cards.  O.K. - I'm good with that.

Later today, I came across some more 1994 Leafs and I had a complete set, so rather than click 'em in individually, I "added entire set" to my collection.

The set is 440 cards.  After I put it in, it said I had 440 cards in my collection, and the set was 100% complete.

Shouldn't it say 733 cards?  I previously entered 293 from that set earlier today.

Although my list still does still show all my dupes, triplicates etc.

Is this correct?  I wasn't paying attention to my whole collection, just the 1994 Leafs.

If you add 1,000 cards of card #1, it'll say you have 1 card in your collection. Maybe it would be better if it said you have 1 unique card in your collection. This is one of the reasons I was one of the biggest supporters of multiple collections. I want to be able to count the roughly 7,000 Phillies cards I have separately from the sets that go back to 1973, and then when I finally get to it, be separate from the 5 binders of HOFers. With some of the overlap, it wouldn't show the 792 from the 1987 Topps set, the 35 for the Phillies (or whatever number it is) and the 20 or so HOFers. for a number closer to 850 for 1987 Topps in my collections.

Just what he said!! =) I have my Ranfords and OPC/Topps as seperate collections, and I will have two more once I am done. Inserts/Parallels and Everything Else. Possibly (since five is the max I think) Others Sets as well.

No max, as far as I know. I have 6 collections right now. I'm sure I'll make more.

I can't even imagine. I just discovered that 2016-17 Donruss soccer has two different silver parallel sets and it makes me want to burn my whole collection.

Ahhh, the Donruss.

I have many cards, and enjoy putting them in.  Some I haven't seen in 20 years!

However...I am about to embark on a long, arduous and tedious task.  I have a 5000-monster box of mostly 1992 Donruss.  One of my least favorite sets.  They were over produced and not worth very much.  I think the entire set was worth $10 last I looked.

I'm thinking of just drinking my way through it?  

I know there's gotta be at least 3 complete sets, and a couple partials, so I'd like to cheat & just add 3 whole sets, but I'm too anal to take shortcuts.  It's my collection and I want it as accurate as possible, so I'm going to plow through it with many beers.   

I'll bet there's a few of you out there who feel the same way when they come across a dull set eh?
