One of our members, waddell51, passed away on 17 January 2018. I never had interaction with Steven Waddell but I was sadden when learning of the death of one of our members. It seems he was an active member to the end. His last log-on was the day before his passing.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I didn't have the pleasure of interacting with Steven either but I was still saddened to hear of his passing. It sounds like he had a large and loving family and he was able to pursue his hobby until the end... Farewell Steven and my sincerest sympathies and best wishes go out to his family and friends.

Shocking and sad news. Prayers for his surviving family. I may have had the last interaction with this gentleman. He seemed very accomodating while communicating. I am embarrassed of my assumptions concerning our trade and only hope that Steven can forgive me.

No need to feel embarrassed. It was a natural human reaction to the situation. I'm sure any ill thoughts have been forgiven.

How sad. In a group such as TCDB, it is rare to learn that someone has passed though we all eventually will. My condolences to the family.

Yes our sincerest condolences to the Waddell family. Did not know him but he did wear the TCDB badge. Whoever found the news, thanks for keeping us informed. Assume it was you Chuck.

I pass within 6 miles of where he's buried on my trips between NY and VA. On my next trip I'll stop by so I can get a photo for his Find-A-Grave page.
