While doing the checklist for a 2018 Donruss football release, Matthew Berry's Fantasy Life, I didn't give it much thought, but when posting the images I did...Why doesn't Matthew Berry get a PID for cards in the set as well? He's on every single one (front and back), he did all the write-up's (I'm assuming).
Peter Gammons, who has a similar situation as well in 1993's Upper Deck baseball release for the Inside the Numbers subset. Like Berry, Gammons in on every card (albeit on the back) and his write-up's are quoted.
Then we go all the way back to 1934 Goudey, where every card in the set is either Lou Gehrig/Chuck Klein Says..., pictures on the front and quoted write-ups on the back. Upper Deck also did this again with Ken Griffey, Jr. Says... on one of their Goudey relaunches (I forget which year).
I'm sure there are a lot more other instances as well. I'm not saying that any of them should get a PID on whichever card either, I'm sure there are reasons why - just floating this out there.
CJF, from the middle of nowhere. Hiya buddies!
