As organized as I have made my collection and traders, I do have a very occasional card that I have listed for trade but don't have. I usually can recall the odd card that I sent in another trade and somehow was not removed from my list by the site tools. (Someone else reported this previously as well - not a whole trade but one or two cards ina trade.) So this winter, once my basement is totally reorganized for my card collections with a separate room only for traders, I plan to inventory everything (again) against my ID site listings. Yes it will take time but what else is there to do from 5-8 in the morning during a Canadian winter.
Sportscommish - it happens to most of us. You are one of the better traders here on this site. I don't think any of your trade partners are too overly concerned. I know I'm not.
As for the airport security, the only couple of times I have had my suitcase opened (not within my sight) is when I have had lots of card and card cases packed in it. When they do this, they do not try to hide the fact that they did open your suitcase. Nothing was missing either time.

That is one practice that I became lax on, too, when I started making deals and maintaining inventories on both ends.

The definition of a “great trading partner” is mainly communication and respect, and you lack neither...It’s all good and I never have concerns in dealing with you, as your honest and fair! Honestly I get Astro cards from time to time and think “commish May like this one” đź‘Ť

Thanks, Bru. Yeah, I believe I have a good track record, and I don't want it blemished. I'm thankful to those who've been affected - you being one of them - and that you've shown mercy.
Airport security has been generally fine and friendly. I recall one security person being excited that I had some "old" cards. They were 1990 Fleer Basketball.

Thanks, Eddy, very kind of you. You, too, have been more than fair and flexible with our various trades. Keep that formula: Astros = Commish.

Josh, I know the feeling. I live in MO and work in TX so I find myself card hunting in the little time off I have while at work. I can't remember the last trip that I wasn't loaded up with cards in a back pack or small suitcase heading home on a plane and most of those don't get entered into the system for quite a while...

So maybe if we meet at an airport one day we can work on a deal!

I've never had a problem with you Josh and always get that sinking feeling when you've agreed to trade a card and then can't find it..For those of us who are addicted to this hobby and trading, we know the countless hours we put into entering cards, pulling cards, organizing trades, shipping, etc. so to mis-enter or not be able to find one card is small potatoes compared to how many cards we are managing.
