I have an outstanding trade that I can no longer access in the transaction manager. I see it listed but I can no longer click on it and open it.  It is under my "Proposed"  transactions and under "details" it reads "Countering..."  It has been stuck like this for over a day now. 

Anyone know what may be going on and how I can fix it?

If you proposed it to the other member, they clicked counter.  They're changing the trade and it will come back to you when they're done for you to approve/reject/counter.

Another thing is that unless your trade partner communicates what changes were made you won't know what was amended, so whenever I counter I'll state what alteration I made in the message portion of the deal. 

I know what you mean.  For small trades with just a couple cards it's not so bad.  But for trades in the double digits it gets real confusing... especially while trying to juggle other trades.  Oh well, I just need to get more organized. 

Be prepared...Countering can take a long time...trading partners sometimes forget to counter. Some prefer to just make the trade all over again. Not perfect, but doable.
