I'm thinking about creating a few interesting User Lists. Do the cards or whatever have to be in any of my collections? Can I input a card that's not in my collection to a User List? I noticed when looking at various User Lists that by clicking on gallery or list only the cards in the User List are shown? I remember Mr. Cigars showing us in a drop down a way of technically "making a card", by adding a different front or back? Does that ring a bell? Think he used Stan Laurel, but I can't find the thread, Any help? Just to be sure, where does that "Stan Laurel" card get stored? Is it only visible to me or everybody? Could I use it in a Collection or User List? I think Billy did something similar with Basketball cards. If anybody knows the procedure I'd be curious to learn, PLEASE be detailed, very slow learner, lol. TY.

To put a card on a list it has to be in the database. Does not need to have an image.
To add custom images, the card needs to be in your collection.
To include custom images in your user list, you must select the card that is in your collection of which you added the custom image(s).

It may be just as easy, Bob, to create a blog and you can always link it to your profile. That way it doesn't matter if TCDB has it because you have it and can show us.

Follow my blog - I Identify as a Card Collector. “Aslan didn't tell Pole what would happen. He only told her what to do. That fellow will be the death of us once he's up, I shouldn't wonder. But that doesn't let us off following the signs.” - Puddleglum in The Silver Chair by C. S. Lewis

Oh true, true and true. I know, but got me thinking about Cigars thread, wish I could find it. Let's say I pick any card, a Phillies logo sticker [front] from Fleer, I can use the drop down and put a pic of a Phillies Team card [back] that's stored on my computer BUT not in the database, and save it. I think that's what Chuck did with that Stan Laurel card. But save it where? My Main Collection, my Phillies Collection or a User List. I know I can link it to my website. Always thinkin', wish I could say I have too much time on my hands, but I'm always busy with something.
Big thanks to Walmart, those $27.00 5-shelf bookcases did the trick, opened up some storage and display space. Cardroom #3 has a new look !

I was going to suggest either you check your own Forum Postings on your profile or C2Cigar's, but as verbose as both of you are you'd spend an eternity searching for that thread.

Thanks for finding the thread, SDC. Take a look at the last item in this user list; it's a photograph of me and kents_stuff.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
