Okay, I thought I knew how to post pictures in the Forum, but apparently not. I had been using my blog's site but all of a sudden it's snipping them drastically. They seem to fit the parameters for uploading and I've not gotten anywhere near my max so I'm not sure what the problem is. I've tried Dropbox, but I cannot figure out how to post the pics except to supply the link. I know that they've got to be on the internet somewhere. I just want to be able to show it with the message. Any help please?

That's what I did with my blog, but then they started cutting significant portions of my pics.

Bring the photo up on the page that it's on.
Right click on the image, select Copy image address from the menu.
Within your forum post, select the icon above that looks like two mountains with the sun in the sky - that's the insert Image button.
Paste the URL in there - then click TAB - it will give a preview - you will be able to resize then so it's not too big for the pages here.

Thanks, Dan, I tried it on another post. I hope it worked. It seemed to. I hadn't done the "Tab" step before, but had adjusted the size.

I didn't know about that path. I don't know that I'll remember it either.
I've been using flickr and pasting the Embed link in the forum. It doesn't show at first when posted, but I click edit on that post and then the text becomes the picture. Without changing anything, I click to edit and the pics now will show in the thread post.

Just wanted to note that my method also works in PM's. I can't edit the message I send, but when the receiver clicks Reply, they can see the pic(s) then and the pics will stay in the PM's after each reply.

imgur.com and imgbb.com are the most widely used free image-hosting sites around. Imgur is the main image hosting site for reddit (which is among the top 10 most visited websites on the planet) so I would imagine it'd work here as well.
 Testing Imgur, let me know if it works.
