Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but tried to update my collection pricing and nothing changed. After I hit save I get a blank page that says Bad Request. Afterwards when returning to see if the prices were changed I see nothing has changed. Previously I would get the Bad Request page but I would still get my prices updated, now it's just not working and I don't want to keep wasting my time hoping for it to work suddenly.

Maybe it's the negative vibes from many of us who don't care for the pricing option on the site.

You have less than 900 cards, no trades, no feedback and been here less than a year and your changing prices?? This is why pricing is considered a joke here and no one uses it to truly price a card or set. When anyone can change a price at anytime and it will affect the price for everyone. Yes, you are wasting your time with the pricing. Most of us know it's so inaccurate we have it turned off and go elsewhere for pricing of a card or set.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

Sigh....You do know that everyone here uses this site for there own reasons? Maybe he just wanted to update the prices he paid for certain cards so he can track it in the DB for himself. You can actually do that. Maybe he's trying to be a good member and enter accurate pricing for the community to utilize. Not everyone trades on here, some just want to track their collection. Or maybe he just han't gotten to trading yet as many members don't just jump right into it. So why so much negatively and thinking of the person's intent? Not everyone has a large collection either. Not sure why the harshness is needed in this case. 99% of the members on here do try to do the right thing and no reason to jump down his throat. If there is malicious intent it'll come to fruition soon enough.

As mentioned by others I'm just adding prices for my own use without having to make a spreadsheet since the feature exist here. My Bernie Williams collection is the only thing I want to track on here, everything else I own card wise is business and is sold on ebay. If I'm changing prices sitewide then I do apologize, that's not my intent. I just want to update my own personal stuff.

Don't worry about RJ's reply! It's completely in your rights as a member to add your own figures to pricing. We do have some hotheads here and I'm one of them sometimes. But if you are adding legit prices (paid or sold), no one can argue with that. Your actions in other parts of this site shouldn't matter if you are just tracking your own collection. BUT, adding a price to a card does change the median value listed by the site itself and seen by others (unless it's in the ballpark of the prices already listed). Feel free to add prices if they are accurate to what you paid for a card or when you sold a card.
What RJ was fussing about is that there have been a few members add prices for what they WANT to sell cards for and they are way above the perceived value. Any member who has prices turned off won't see anything you add anyway. So don't worry about replies from them. I do have values visible in my collection. It's easy for me to see when someone tries to jump the value for no reason other than to help themselves. And I'm a Level 8 member, so I can delete those ridiculous "prices". If you add real prices for your own bought or sold cards, you are helping the site get better accuracy with pricing. I say add away!

I have been adding prices to the database as I purchase cards. May add some prices of cards i have later.
IMO Some of my prices are high and some are low but they are what I paid for them. The cards I have purchased in bulk are the cards I'm thinking about. Paid 2 or 3 cent a card is not what we really want in the database.

It is possible to change the price for your cards only. Just go to the card you want to change the price of and right click on the little box next to the card number then go to edit details, I believe, then add the price to the price line and click on the save button. I'm pretty sure this only changes, or adds, this price to your own card. You can also do it another way if you want to change a bunch of prices in the same set of cards. Go to your set of the cards you want to change the price of and click on Update Pricing on the right hand side. Then you can change the prices on just your collection. Just dont forget to click on the Save button at the bottom of the page or you will lose all of the prices you just added.
