I trade a lot - even when my trading is turned off I'm looking at possible deals, and mostly in large numbers. I also work hard to distinguish the different VARs in sets to keep my inventory, especially for trading to those collectors who go for master sets.
I've noticed over the course of this past year or so that VARs aren't identified when using the transaction tool. For example, take '91 Donruss where a player has three VARs for the "Inc", "Inc.", and factory set. Within the transaction list of cards, either to add or once added, they VAR is not specified. With the '91 Donruss set the cards are listed in the Collection Summary pages as "#a", "#b", and "#c" depending on the VAR, but that information is nowhere to be found when looking at Want Lists, Trade Lists, or in the aforementioned transaction pages. Here's what I'm talking about for you visual learners:
- This is from the Collection Summary page:
- This is from the Want List (VAR info not shown):
- This is from the Transaction Selection page (VAR info not shown):
- And, this is from the Proposed Offer page (VAR info not shown):
Unless I'm missing a step, not seeing something, or doing something incorrectly in making an offer, then I believe we need to update the Transaction Tool to provide us the information as already shown for each set. Otherwise it could lead to problems with trades with master collectors (of which I'm not one, but could be affected collaterally).
If it's something that needs to be referred to the New Feature, I'll do it, but I wanted to bring this up just in case my infallible self finally made a mistake.
