You guys do a great job responding to IRs in a timely manner but I have a question regarding permissions. Can I be given the ability to delete card entries, rename sets, etc, (usually my being the only one messing with the Korean and Japanese sets) that I dont get with the highest level allowed, instead of having to request IRs when I make a mistake or want to fix a mistake.. or will requesting IRs always be the case?

I believe that Admin is the only one that can delete a card's listing from a set. At Level 8, renaming of sets is an option.

If you aren't Level 8, take the permissions tests. They are the 5th link on the left at the bottom of any page. If you are already L8, then IR's are the only way to go. Everything above that requires multiple L8's and/or Admin to fix it.

Why would anyone want to delete card entries?? or rename sets??
We all have been through the "Fleer" Ultra debate. It a 1/2 & 1/2 divide. We all know what the name is here and that is how it is. One person should not be allowed to delete cards that are listed and rename sets. That will lead to confusion.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

It's understood that mistakes happen. However, there are processes in place to prevent accidental deletions of items that shouldn't get deleted (or malevolent deletions). If a mistake happens, just fill out he inaccuracy report and allow the process to happen. In the meantime, keep contributing to the site to build up points to attain the next level(s) or permissions and become a Level 8 member who can be one of the approving members of such remediations.

I want to delete card entries because some people dont know how to fill out an Excel sheet properly for a checklist or put cards in the correct order. Sometimes I immediately realize I misnamed a set after adding it.
I am already Level 8 but will stick with filling out IRs.

Doesn't need Admin to remove, but takes 3 people...
You can do an IR on an individual card to delete it. Then in the IR, go to tools and select "Delte Card" (only available if there are no images or collection info, if there is then you have to do IR's to move or delete images/collection info first)
Once you select "Delete Card" it goes to the "Needs Approval" list and 2 other higher level mebers have to approve the removal. That way, 3 mebers, at least 2 of whom were higher level, have all verified and agreed to the reason for the removal.
