I'm trying to figure out how to delete my old member account. I was under CPBoomer77 and did many trades on here. I took a break for awhile, and decided to create a new account and start over with my new email address. Also wanted to re-input my collection.

Anybody know how to delete the old account? I feel like I've looked everywhere to figure it out. Thanks!

If you want to re-enter your whole collection from scratch, message Admin and ask them to do it.  Long ago when I first joined, like many newbies, I rushed into things in getting everything logged into the database and not having things organized physically.  I was soon lost in what I had already entered, what was in my collection, and what was for trade.  So I asked him if he could delete my baseball collection in mass.  After asking if I was sure I wanted that, he did it for me. It was easier to start from scratch than try to organize by what I had already entered.

If you rfeedback is 100% positive on your old account, it would be worth keeping it and re-introducing yourself as "back in the game".

My feedback was perfect. I probably did 100 trades. I created a new account because I couldn’t change my user name, which I wanted to match my twitter account and email etc. So I don’t want to revert back to the old one. Oh well, I deleted the entire collection on the old one so people aren’t sending messages and trade proposals to it.   

Might I then suggest you add a link to your old account with a short explanation (as you wrote just above) so that others know you are a reputable and established trader on this site?  Lately we have had some newbies who have been scammers causing traders to be wary of new accounts. If not, don't be surprised if you are asked to ship first on any new trades. Once you get some positive feedback on this account, then it will no longer be necessary to have the link.

Not everyone reads the Forums (nor does everyone read profiles and feedback).

Probably explains why so many accounts haven't been in-active in years . How many others have possiblibly wanted to delete their acounts ?  Sure would clean up this amazing site if we could filter some of these no longer active accounts . Many may have ceased collecting or moved on to other hobbies .....

If you had sent a message to Admin, he could have changed your user name. It has been done before.

It doesn't look like I can add a link to to a different profile on my page, but I did note that I was previously under CPBoomer77 and to check that account for Feedback.
