Is there a way to have mutlple collections? I was using Card Collector 7.0 until Beckett bought them out and killed it. I have a collection for my keepers, a collection for my extras and separate collections for people and relatives that have asked me to evaluate their cards. Some of the collections are available for sale or trade. Others are not. Can I do this on this website?

At the moment, unfortunately, no. All we can have is a collection, a want list, and a FS/FT list. Because of that, I only have one portion of my true collection listed here (mostly sets), even though I also collect a team and many individuals. This is something that keeps coming up, and I would guess Admin has given this very serious thought (don't know for fact).
I'm sure if and when this becomes a possibility, there will be a rather large announcement about it here.
Update: After replying, I sent Admin a friendly note asking about the possibility of this, as you and I are not the only ones who want this. We'll see where this goes.

I am a software developer and I have been giving this some thought for a long time. This site has a portion of the ideas that I have but falls short in others. I just joined this weekend. I'll keep working with this site and we'll see where it goes.
Thanks for your reply.

Until recently I thought it was a little silly to have this option but I have now thought it would be a great addition. It would allow me to keep my Royals collection seperate from my non-Royals and make it easier to sort them. I could go the route of a second account, but that seems like a bit of trouble and seems to inflate the member count. Though after the new year it is an option I might consider.

As we all know (or will know for the newer members), Admin is the greatest. I dropped them a note about this, and they are seeing if and how it can be implemented. This would be big news for this site if they can do this. (I'd be one of the first ones to use it, too!) Let's keep our fingers crossed!

That is excellent news. I don't currently have the need for multiple collections but it does seem to be a popular request.

I'm struggling as it is with one collection!!
-------------------------------
I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

At first I thought it would not really affect me but then it hit me, I could list all my crappy college cards and nort have them lousing up my player and team statistics...I'm sold!
One point of interest- there should be a way to move cards already listed into a secondary collection without having to simply relist them. It would not be horrible for me if I had to do that, but it would certainly be easier.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
