Here are 3 of the cards I was referring to. Most of the DP cards have this "variation". Once again would you call it a variation? I do. ~BOB~

No, not a variation. An inking problem; printing glitch. I can see the "1" on card #273.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Variations carry such a double-standard on TCDB. I can find many more picky variations on site, '89 Stan Jefferson - 3 variations for a purple triangle.....wouldn't that be inking?

First, there are not 3 different variations of the 1989 Topps Stan Jefferson card. The purple/bluish area is part of all card images (photo). The only difference (variation) is the pink "triangle" addition.
But more importantly, I agree with you. It looks like a printing glitch. Like some debris got on the cyan printing plate and kept it from depositing cyan ink in that area. Leaving just the magenta to give it a "pinkish" color. If this is one of those printing glitches that Admin allows, then there should only be an "a" (no "triangle") and "b" ("triangle").

If you spin these cards counter-clockwise, it says "Paul is dead".......wait, I may be confusing this with something else.

Probably, "and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."
