Card Identification Forum

 Here here on the oversized cards!!  For me, I KNOW what irks me about them.  Symmetry.  They don't fit in with others of similar sets, they make flipping through a binder more of a hassle as they prevent pages from folding like a 3x3 should, and they're honestly the easiest cards to ding the corners!

Widevision, Gameday, and Jam Session, all oversized stuff too. Top loaders are out there for about all this junk, cost a bit more, and also are a bit of a pain to store. Keep all mine in one box, hope I can keep it to that.

You should see the one monster sized holder a Gameday Joe Montana is in that is graded by PSA I got cheap a while back,  just ridiculous.

We (my son and I) were helping my friend who opened cases (at the time) of new product, and my son pulled a plate out of a pack.

  I say put them in if someone wants them.   There are already miscellaneous sets of all type.   I have to agree with the poster that there  checklist for so many subsets that do not have one card in them and probably never will, but they are there.   Personally I have been selling off any weird sized stuff that I have just to make my life simpler.  Bad enough I have a bazillion regular sized cards.

I've never owned a printing plate, but I feel they belong here.  They are card-sized and come in packs, so they belong.  There are people who collect them.

Regarding the checklists with no scans, there have been times where I've thought about googling a scan of a card from every wrestling set with no images, to upload to the database (if the scan was good quality with no watermarks).  Not looking for every card in the set, but just one from each that has 0% scans.  Of course, in many cases I would only find a front, but it's better than nothing..  I won't deny that I have completed one or two of the 99.9% sets with scans I found online.
