I say take both and let a glow worm crawl around on the cards and whatever one it likes best glows.

For the Ripken, either neither glows or the top does and bottom doesn't.

Finally, a guess. Or shall I say, TWO guesses.
Anyone else?

If we're supposed to guess, bottom is same as right side of first pic.

I'll end the suspense.
Both of the Ripken cards glow.
Point proven that visually, without a black light, there is no way to 100% guarantee which is which. This also menas that if we do wind up adding anything for these to the database, we have no way of knowing what's already been added and if what's being added is correct. The cards are simply the same. I am open to suggestions.

I'm more interested in the fact that the White Sox had three 30-base stealers, including Sammy Sosa. Does Topps still acknowledge the stolen base as a stat with league leaders?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

A scan is much harder to tell than the actual cards (at least for me). I do agree that there is ABSOLUTELY no way to be 100% sure without a blacklight. I really didn't think the 2nd Ripken would glow b/c the border seemed so dark in the scan. But the top card was so close in color to the bottom card that I thought maybe neither glow.
The only suggestion I can think of for adding the Glowbacks to the DB is to make sure the CL's have mention of them only being discernable with a UV light. If the sets were added though, they would show up with Glowback in the title and then be differentiated in a player or team search as being different. Then a member would just have to go to the set page to find out what the difference is and how to find out what they have.
