    I remember this as I entered the contest. The winner of the Honus Wagner T-206 was a woman that had no clue of what she had just won. She immediately sold the card via a dealer but I forget how much she got for it. You might find an entry in google about this as it was quite a big thing at the time.

I remember getting a bunch of these back in the day, but I can't remember where. It was probably basketball cards, but it may have been NASCAR too. I think it's highly likely they came from repacks, which has always been my favorite way to grow my collection.
