I have come across 2 of these which have wrong backs or wrong fronts depending on how you look at things and was wondering if it is worth noting that there may be other instances of this happening or are they just 2 offs?

Though I had only ever seen one before (1968 Baseball Topps), since I have been on this site, this type of misprint often comes up so it is not of extreme rarity. You can assume that a whole printing sheet was done with wrong backs so most probably 132 different ones in that set alone. We don't list them here but there are some collectors who like these.

Good morning Bruno,
I'm curious to know if there are others that exist. Like you say it would be strange that this would only occur on 2 different cards and the box i pulled them from had a quantity of 2 of each of them.

Not something that could really be tracked. Most likely the first side was printed, the sheet jammed or fell on the floor or something, then it got reloaded wrong to print the other side. I'm not sure how many there are, but I bet Bob has a monster box full of them that he can sell you.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

I'm also very willing to bet that ranfordfan would be willing to take those off of your hands for his collection, as well.

I had a Brett Hull & (someone else) wrongback from that same set, back in the day. Definitely a sheet printing error that just got swept up into the cards put in packs. Not a variant worthy of listing on TCDb, but certainly of interest to some collectors of those players or teams.

Best ones I have are 1965 OPC Pete Rose and Walt Alston. I have both cards and each have the other's back printed on them. I have a few others from the set as well including another matching pair.
