The play-by-play guy has missed much, that's for sure. Yogi mentioned that after the game. He said matter-of-factly, "You didn't say what you didn't see."

I'm proud of my boys. Just when it was looking bad the Stogies rallied again in the fourth inning.
The play-by-play man missed Yogi's trip to the mound in the fifth after Spahn gave up two walks. The talk garnered no less than a K on Schmidt.

Speaking of Yogi, have you seen It Ain't Over, yet?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thanks again for the contest, Mr. Commissioner. I didn't quite make it past the Sweet Sixteen but I had fun anyway. Good luck to all of the remaining teams!

I'm anxious to see how tonight goes. Hopefully Spahn's arm isn't falling off after all of the innings he's thrown in the past week and the Jabroni's bats stay hot.

Warren Spahn pitched 5,243 2/3 innings (8th all time) At age 44 he pitched 197 2/3 innings. Last season only 6 pitchers pitched more than that. Warren would scoff at your concern for his arm.

He can scoff all he wants, just not scuff as that wouldn't be tolerated.

My apologies as I mistakenly left off yesterday's games in my previous "bump" post. Here are the links to last night's four games of the Sweet Sixteen. They were released at 6:00 pm, but without the links they were inaccessible.

Ohh, and all Celtic opener - The Irish vs. Highlanders , or were they Picts? Wikipedia here I come.
<edit> It appears Picts were Celts too, although their dialect is/was closer to Welsh.
