It's finally here, the 19 hour Wrestlemania event. Well, I guess its 7 or 8 hours this year, but I could see a 19 hour event one day soon. I don't have the network so checking twitter for updates. I saw John Cena kept his word and is chilling with fans in the crowd... at least for now. I don't get what they plan to do, but whatever.
I did see some of the Hall of Fame speeches from Friday, and Mark Henry and Jeff Jarrett had good ones. I liked Henry's plea to Owen Hart's wife Martha to allow him to be inducted. I still hope she will give her blessing and I think if they had a Wrestlemania in Calgary and inducted Owen and Davey (and the rest of the Hart Foundation), tickets would sell quick and it would be massive.
Hope those that have the network or watch the show tonight enjoy it. I still think Lashley shows up. Also heard a rumor a couple other guys could show up but I hope not.

Lesnar is splitting for UFC again so he'll probably drop the title, I've heard rumours that Heyman will betray him and align with Roman

I'm behind, I know the pre-show is on now as I type this, leaving soon to watch the main show and all. Been busy cleaning up achievements on WWE 2K18, it's free to play this week on Xbox One. If I paid for that game - I would be so mad. So very mad.
Pretty much stand pat on what I said earlier. I think most, if not all the titles will change hands (if not tonight, Monday or Tuesday.)
Hope it's a good show, doubt it will be better than Takeover from last night because it was incredible.

So far, I was right on one and wrong on 3. Charlotte beat Asuka to keep the title, but Hunter/Stephanie lost to Angle/Rousey (happy about that). Rollins won the IC title (happy about that too). Undertaker did show up and beat Cena. THAT is next year's WM match for sure (Cena/Taker 2). Most of the matches have been awesome to watch so far! Also, the Smackdown tag titles now belong to Rowan & Harper (the Bludgeon Brothers).

I don't get why they had Cena playing the role of no-name jobber in a 1992 Undertaker squash match. I hope AJ and Nakamura can save this mess.

Even though several matches didn't go the way I wanted, they were all fantastic battles! There really weren't any unsuspected surprises, except for the Undertaker showing up. I really didn't think he would be there this year. But now I'm sure he'll be there in 2019.
Styles and Nakamura was an awesome match, even though I didn't care who won. I love that Stroman won the Tag titles but where do they go from there? Now that kid has to show up for at least one more match against The Bar. I really thought Braun would have added a partner before the match. BUT, that was one of the best moments of the night when he was searching through the crowd for a partner. I totally didn't see that happening the way it did.
Brock is such a b***h and that match shouldn't have ended with so much fake blood. Also, that mat really seemed to be brutal on the wrestlers! Did you all notice how many wrestlers came out of matches with skinned elbows and knees? Anyway, it was a lot of fun to watch WM34 and they put on a good show this year.

My main takeaway is that the show was too long. 7 hours is a killer, especially when you just had 3 the night before (and 3 more the next night). It's no wonder the crowd was a little hostile in the main event. The tag title matches probably should have axed since they didn't really amount to much.
Some interesting booking, some head scratching booking though too.
Oh, Shane is clearly an insane person.

I have to disagree Cory. Both of the Tag Title matches were extremely interesting! Of all of the matches, I think the least interesting one was the US Title match. It didn't even matter to me who won by the time it was over. That match was so drab and completely expected. I just didn't care throughout the entire match!

So was it worth watching? I don't get some of the results booking wise, but I figure AJ and Nak was a good match so I'll check that out eventually. Wasn't sure if anything else stood out.

I would say...Don't watch the entire thing...Pick and choose. Definately watch the two non-title tag matches (the Ronda and Daniel Bryan ones). Ronda was very good, much more so than I expected, maybe the best debut performance I've seen? Maybe. The crowd was hot hot for both of them as well.
The IC title match was good enough. Charlotte/Asuka was good as well - don't agree with the booking, but that's me. The US title match was just there, Rusev and English were awesome. the SD tag title match was short - figured the newly repackaged team would win. Alexa/Nia was a pretty insulting match, considering they are pushing Nia so hard and Asuka is dying on the vine. The Raw tag title match was a lot of nothing. I mean Braun did his power moves and it was something that could have been on Raw tomorrow night.
The Brock and Roman is also worth watching, they worked their butts off and it was very phsyical. The crowd wasn't into at all, caring about beach balls and chanting for CM Punk and "This is awful."
AJ and Nakamura, also worth watching. No where near as good as their Wrestle Kingdom match from a few years ago.
I wanted to throttle the announcers for saying that Ronda and Nakamura have never been on big stages before. They annoy me so much.
