Cool stuff. I want to catch a game where a team is playing under one of these alternate names. Much better than those MLB Players Weekend uniforms. Those really, really stink!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

These teams aren't changing names. They do occasional games/homestands etc. with an alternate name.

A man has to have goals — for a day, for a lifetime — and that was mine, to have people say, "There goes Ted Williams, the greatest hitter who ever lived."

Some of the picture on the hats look like something we can say here. The lowrider logo is cool. And a great team name.

I heard about this on my local news tonight. They showed the local Greensboro Grasshoppers (AAA) alter-ego uniforms (Ocelots). Oddly, they didn't mention that the Winston-Salem Dash are involved also. About a half-dozen NC teams in the upper levels of MiLB are participating. Thanks for posting the link that has the list!

The Trenton Thunder become the Trenton Pork Roll on Friday nights. Best part of that is the pork roll sandwiches are only a buck. At least it's been that way the last couple of years.

Wish my local team would be the "Hot Dogs & Beer" and do the same thing. :)

They were in the list in the 1st link. You have to actually click the "List" link in the article that the original link takes you to for the entire list of 72 teams.
