I've been to the Juice Box when it's been raining outside and the roof was leaking. Granted that's better than no roof at all. Been to Nats park, pretty nice place though I strongly disagree with their backpack policy. Any Astros fans who intend on going will need to educate themselves with Metro's operating hours. I found out the hard way several years ago and ended up paying a $42 cab fare to get me back to the Franconia/Springfield station. Ouch! That was for a regular season game. I would like to think they would adjust for the postseason.

Sanchez off speed stuff and control put cardinals in an offensive slump that they could not get out of in nice, perhaps he can keep Astros to 3 or less in his start. Strasurg is hot as well
Since cards are out, go nats (for my dad's joy)

For me, last night was heart breaking. To watch the Yanks come back just to lose... I'm originally from Brooklyn though, so it's part of my family tradition to be a Yankees fan.
In 2017, I rooted for the Astros to win their first WS. This year, I will do the same for the underdog Nats. Really, I would just like to see Scherzer get a ring.
No matter what, this is going to be a good series and whoever wins will deserve it.

Ditto everything Matt says here. Although, I do have to say that I won't be disappointed if Houston wins. I'm only rooting for Washington for the sake of Scherzer. I think he deserves a ring after his years of dominance.

There are 2 reasons that I'm rooting for the Nat's to win the WS:
#1 - I rooted for the Astros when they got to their 1st WS appearance, only fair to do the same for the DC.
#2 - The season doesn't seem like a waste when my team is eliminated by the eventual champions!

Except for the fans of teams they knocked out of the playoffs, I can't imagine anyone disliking either of the World Series adversaries.
Hope it's a great matchup, and good luck to both!

they have already announced they are extending the Metro hours for the WS, so hopefully no one gets stranded. Will be a great matchup across the board. The Baby Shark will be rockin at Nats Park.

Houston was always my favorite NL team since the Biggio/Bagwell days. Now they're my 2nd favorite AL team, and hope they take it in any amount of games. I'm thinking Houston in 6.

I recall throughout the season the sports radio guys up here in the Toronto area talking about the AL contenders, and the discussion always came down to, "Yeah, but are they good enough to beat the Dodgers in the World Series, because what it'll take to win a championship." Nobody even considered that another team would be there.
I'd love to see the Nats win, but I think it'll be Houston in 6.

Saw stat that Nats and Astros have 5 of top 10 strikeout leaders this season. Might be a low scoring series depending how long starters stay in the game.
