I'm a Nats fan all the way in this one, although I've always like the Astros for some reason. Maybe it was the colorful uniforms, Nolan Ryan, and JR Richard and Cesar Cedeno. Or that playoff series with the Phillies back in the day. Whatever. I live in DC. My home games are in Nats Park.
Copping out here, because I really don't know what will happen. The Nats starting pitching can go toe to toe or better with Houston's. And don't underestimate the Nats' hitters and offense in general. They've got power and speed. A near MVP in Rendon, a near batting champion in Kendrick, and a future MVP in Soto, and one of the fastest guys in the game in Turner. But the bullpen, although great in the playoffs, remains a concern. It can't be ALL Doolittle and Hudson. So if I have to predict, I'd say Houston in six. But I won't be shocked to see the Nats win it all. They are NOT a David. They are deserving and scary Goliath of an NL Champion. Be warned.

NO brainer I'm a Nats fan. It should be a tough tight series. Want Nats in 6 or less, but will be at least 6 possibly 7. Then again I thought the series with the Cardinals would go the distance. Didn't expect a sweep.

I'm cheering for the Nats. I'm a big Scherzer and Doolittle fan and plus I'll be happy for the Expos fans who still relate to the team. I also don't like how the Astros got good. One of the most extreme cases of deliberate tanking in history. I think this threatens MLB in general and feel uncomfortable seeing it rewarded. Certainly this is not the players fault though. I really like Altuve and Reddick, so I can find some happiness whoever wins. Ultimately a competetive series is all I ask for.

I've been an Astros fan since the mid 80's with Ryan, Bass, and Doran. My grandpa watched them back when they had Cruz. Then came Bags and Biggio. Now, Altuve and Cole. Both teams are great and deserve to be there. But, I'm rooting for my Astros. I'm expecting pitching will be a big factor with the edge going to Astros with their starters going deep. But who knows what will happen?

Never ever seen nor read about any of the Nats players prior to this series, and I'm impressed after taking a two-games-to-none lead after last night's thumping.
It ain't over and I'm hoping the Astros take a page out of the '86 Mets WS experience and that of those other two teams who've come back to win it all. But it'll take Houston breaking out of their RISP slump to do it. It's followed then since the Yankees series.
The one player that baffles me on the Nats is Kendrick because he never performed well for me in fantasy baseball; why now?

Joshua, I offer my aplogy on last night, as it seems whenever I attend any WS game the home team loses, I was hoping Verlander would have done much better, I enjoy the fact that both teams have former Tigers in the rotations, couldn't make it work in Detroit.

Thanks, Edward. I was wondering if maybe I was wearing the wrong Astros shirt. I'd gone through four of them, but thought maybe it was because I didn't wear them to work. I wore it today, so we'll see if my theory was right, otherwise I may have to buy you a ticket to Washington.

This is me! I was a huge baseball guy until ............................ =(
I'm cheering the Nats very humbly, they certainly are not the Expos but in a way the W logo turned sideways still looks like an E.

At least there won't be a sweep! No matter who I'm pulling for, I want to see more baseball in the WS so the wait for next season is a little less.
