I was scanning some of my old photos including ones that my wife, who was my girlfriend took why I play softball both in private company leagues and city leagues. Like any baseball fan I guess I have watched a lot of “Baseball” movies throughout the years from where Gary Cooper plays Luo Gehrig to Clint Eastwood playing an aging scout in “Trouble with the Curve”. It was while I was scanning the photos that I recalled the quote from “The Rookie” by Jimmie Morris, played by Dennis William Quaid says, "We get to play baseball!" It’s still awesome to me!
So, I ask you fellow card traders, name some of the baseball movies that are your favorites. For me “The Pride of The Yankees”, “42”, and “The Rookie”.

Numero uno will always be Field of Dreams for me as I connect with the plot and the script where Ray Kensella shares with Terrence Mann about the awful thing he told his father and eventually regretted when, "...the (expletive) died before I could take it back." It brought me to tears when I first heard it, and my wife couldn't understand it's affect on me as she was unaware of the background story between me and my dad. I hadn't seen it until we rented it in 1994, so 22 years after my dad died I had finally reconciled with his passing.

Eight Men Out is a good one (although it's been a while since I've seen it).
And I second Sandlot - I watched that recently with the kid and it was a blast.
42 is definitely on my list to see very soon.

In addition to those mentioned, the first “Major League” was a lot of fun. “For Love of the Game” is an underrated gem. And you can’t forget “The Natural”.

In addition to the previously mentioned movies (which are fantastic baseball movies), here's a few more:
Aunt Mary - 1979 (Jean Stapleton)
The Stratton Story - 1949 (Jimmy Stewart & June Allyson)
A League Of Their Own - 1992 (Geena Davis, Tom Hanks, & Madonna)
Rookie Of The Year - 1993 (Thomas Ian Nicholas, Gary Busey, etc.)
61* - 2001 (Berry Pepper, Thomas Jane, etc.).
Chasing 3000 - 2010 (Ray Liotta, Rory Culkin, etc.)

I still like "The Natural" a lot because of Redford and the movie's time period, but also the movie's theme still wins me over during the final scene. As much as I like "The Field of Dreams" and "A League of Their Own", "The Natural" will always be tops for me.

Brewster's Millions with Richard Pryor & John Candy was a good comedy about baseball.
The Bad News Bears (the original) was an absolute classic about Little League. Beer swilling coach, Girl pitcher and Engelberg!
Little Big League where the kid inherits his grandfather's Minnesota Twins. No big actors in it but plenty of MLB starts of the 90s.
