1888 Kinney Tobacco Military (N224) Non-Sport Forum

There are a lot of IRs for this set right now. It is an incredibly large and complex set (622 base cards and a master set well over 1,000). I am working with a couple guys at Vintage Non-sports Chat who are experts on this set.

I am trying to get an accurate checklist of all subsets/color variations/back variations, etc.

I'm happy to work as part of a team on this one, but I've noticed some piece-meal additions to this set recently  and continuing down this road will only make it more confusing and difficult to get correct. A little patience will save a lot of future work.

Looks like the first headache of the set is NNOs - ACK! 

I notice that the backs are of a handful of standard notices that are the same on many of the cards throughout the set. Some of the sample scans need to be upgraded. The same stains and paper loss marks are on dozens of the cards in the set. Hopefully while cleaning up the checklist the team that works on this set can find some better scans for some of the backs.

Thanks all, definately still a work in progess.

You'll probably see this set appear in the new galleries page a couple more times over the next week or two as I add all the variations to the checklist. I'm slowly working my way through this one. It is a neat set but very large and very complicated, especially for a tobacco issue.
