There are a few Selanne's I've seen for pretty cheap actually, so I'll probably bite on those. They're not a priority, though. But, some people are asking stupid prices for some. I feel like asking for a price comparable to the original card - but nothing more. The "V" stamp does nothing for me. It's kinda like a buyback stamp with no serial numbering to me.

Your absolutley correct bear, that and it is a last ditch stab at some cash as it is basically all their leftovers from past runs that they had for returns/replacements, expos and/or any possible mail-in requests.

I think there are also some (they claim) that were never issued. I've seen a few of those because I've never seen the designs in ITG/BAP. If there would be a Selanne one of those, I'd pay for it. It's like a promo card that never came to be. I have a few of those from the older Donruss sets. I'm guessing the ones they have that were never issued (because I can't remember the players' names) are probably common players.

Hey Mark I can think of two words and they rhyme with fart and pass ...... LOL ......... yeah I just can't get into the Final Vault series, too confusing and ....... well you figure out the rest from above =P ............. I will buy some 1 of 1's but for the most part I stay away. Heck I can't even get close to getting some of the new stuff this year, have tried three times at some Exquiste stuff on eBay, yeah not a chance when he's splitting time with Fuhr on them. =(

Update !!
I finally broke down and bought ONE Vault card. It is a 10-11 ITG Betwwen the Pipes Golden Goalies Silver Edition Green Foil "1 of 1". It is not listed on the DB under the Final Vault set yet and the only reason I bought it is for the original set, I am going to ignore the silly green V and use it as it was originally intended as one of the "doesnt really exist" 1 of 20 silver versions. I wonder how the people who have an actual silver version feel about the Vault? It basically screws all of them over on card value and rarity. Oooops did I say that out loud? Insert evil grin. =)

Oh boy. You had to dig this one up from the catacombs. I had forgotten about this set. You really spent too much time on the roof in that arctic weather, didn't you?!?!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Ummmm maybe. =) And its back ...... currently it is -28C (-37C with wind chill) and is suppose to drop to -47C with chill sometime tonight. I read an article today about how Mars, Mount Everest's base camp, Antarctica and the coldest place on earth were all warmer than the western provinces today. Yup Mars daytime high was warmer than here. =/

Wow, that's something. Maybe it's summer in Mars right now, kind of like Australia. I haven't been there myself.
It was -5 F when I went to work yesterday. When I checked late last night, it was warmer in Barrow, Alaska and in Novosibirsk, Siberia than it was at the time here in Paris, IL. But my weather app doesn't give alien planets! Now we know why Ranfordfan spends so much time on his roof. He's communicating with the Martians!
