One of our members opened up a factory set and should be posting the images. The splatter pattern on the edges differ, and it has nothing to fdo with side-to-side cut - we're looking at the patterns as they appear next to the photo box.
Once these images are fully loaded, you'll be able to tell in a heartbeat - and most likely, inless you busted a factory set, you most likely have the packed out cards.

There are definite differences on the splatter on borders. Open two tabs side by side of non-DK cards and you'll most likely see the differences.

Okay, I will keep an eye out for updated scans. I do agree, however, that mine are most likely from packs os opposed to a set. I just want to be accurate is all. If someone(s) have gone to the effort of arranging everything, I want to at least take the time to use the resource properly.

OK, I'm pulling 100-700 CLs VARs from the site for a trader. They appear to be from the Factory Sets. Are these presently correct? They are definitely not the same pattern on each.

The FS images are being loaded. If the FS image is from griffey423, KMack, or dodgercards - trust it. I cannot vouch for any others. I have a team bag of verified FS Phillies from dodgercards, so I know he had a busted FS. KMack sent me pics of FS before he opened it, and griffey423 told me, when I traded hom a bunch of the packed-oput cersions, that he had a FS that he was about to bust.

Thanks for all the help!
Just as a brief aside, I have been receiving e-mails with packed out versions that the committee had not found. As they come in, I've been adding them and requesting they submit scans of the cards to the site. Keep 'em coming!

I'm just getting around to checking my cards. How do you know if they were from "packs" or "factory sets"? Some I've had since I was a kid! LoL

Most likely, they were from packs, but you can tell by looking at the patterns in the borders and comparing them to what we have here.

Just recently went through and entered all these variations. Thank you and kudos for all the hard work.
A strangeness appeared while looking for INC. vs. INC varations. There are some of the INC. cards where the kerning on the period is greater than others. Found at least a couple where there was close kern and far kern variations. I can go through my card comments to find which those are if needed. I'm not quite sure that this rises to the level of variation since it doesn't seem to be consistent throughout the set. I only noticed it near the back end of the 600s, but it could be throughout.
