I picked up a Boxed Factory Set for 2002 Topps. I hit add all Cards instead of Add without Variations. It is showing I have a Master Set of 790 Cards. I am guessing I need to eliminate 72 of the 73 Barry Bonds Race to 73 Cards. Any info on which Card #365 Barry Bonds I would keep listed in my Collection would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

In the background of the photo you should see large number. That number corresponds to which variation you have. So if you see a 3 you can keep that one check and deselect 1-2 and 4-73 from your collection

I'm assuming you're asking because the set is sealed and you don't want to open it to find out which #365 is in there.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I'm unsure whether it's random. I got a factory set for Christmas and it had #73, which made me suspect all the factory sets had that one. No proof of that, just a suspicion.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Of course, you'd need to open the set to see which one you actually have. Each set was packed with 1 random card from the 73. If you haven't opened it, you'll have no way of knowing which one you actually have.

I also received the 2002 Factory Set for Christmas back then. A few years ago I opened it and got #73.

Do you know this for a fact? Is that how it was advertised? I know that's how the packs worked, but we're now 2 for 2 of people opening sets and getting 73.

baseballcardpedia states random. I found one blog, so far, his factory set had #73.

#73 is the most logical since it is the "record" card.
