Is there a reason some of the rookie cards no not have a team name or logo on the front of the cards? I figure it is a copyright issue, but wanted to make certain there is not another parallel out there.

I checked the other Panini products.  The same colleges do not have team names or logos on the front.  Panini must not have gotten permission from the schools.

Notre Dame is one. I believe they have a deal with Upper Deck on rights.

Last I knew, Upper Deck had the exclusive right to Notre Dame. That's why the issue was that way for them. However, it's also been an issue in the past that a player wasn't drafted so there was no team to list.

I haven't seen this set, and don't know if that's the case; I'm guessing C2C's point is probably more correct.

If you are talking about NFL teams though, Score is made before the NFL Draft so they can't add a team for the rookies. Otherwise, the lack of licensing for certain colleges is the reason as mentioned above.

The schools in question are Notre Dame, Richmond, UMass, and South Dakota State.

So it sounds like Copyright Issue.
