I came across this card #3 Mark McGwire that is missing his name and the studio logo. Is this a variant or just a worthless misprint? Has anyone else seen similar cards from this set? I would imagine if there is one, then there probably was a whole sheet at least that made it out like this card.

Simply missing the foil on the front. Not a variant that we (or any other site) lists. It's a print flaw. Missed a step in the process.

player collectors don't think of it as a worthless misprint / PSA 1 if graded.
we love misprints like this.

Utley, as requested, I have updated my profile. Still logging in cards, so not quite ready to show my collection or Wants list.
Glad I found this site! My wife of 38 years says I now have something to focus on. At least I think that's what she said. She also claims I don't listen.

I am seeking a non-sanctioned master set of 1997 Collector's Choice - All-Star Connection which has the same problem as your McGwire.
