1990 Pro Set Football Forum

I wanted to share my opinions of the way this set is catalogued here. I'm not going to put in IRs unless it is the general consensus to do so.

1. The Final Update Set should be classified as a Mail-In set and the 3rd Andre Rison variant, the Fred Washington In Memoriam card, the header and the checklist should be included as part of the set rather than as separate inserts. The Dexter Manley variants should remain as variants because I assume no one was getting all 3 variants in the same set.
2. The Jeff George variant with the Illinois helmet should be a Series 1 insert card rather than a variant of the Series 2 card in the Colts uniform.
3. The 2nd Andre Rison variant should be a Series 2 insert card rather that a variant.
4. One of the #1 Barry Sanders variants was only available at a trade show. Doesn't that mean it should be a promo?

2 I'm not sure about this. I dont think I have ever gotten the 669 Illinois card from a Series 1 pack. I will check on it.

#1 is a continuation of the base checklist. We don't separate that out on any other sets unless it was packaged in a different product.

I only agree with #3

Yes and no for me, I see where your going with this but I would leave as is but put which series / set they are from in notes, as for the sanders Hawaii I would move that to promo
