I was browsing football sets when I came across this Jim Brown card: 1999 Upper Deck Retro #38 Jim Brown A couple of things don't look right. The player pictured seems to be wearing #42 (definitely not #32 that Brown wore throughout his career). The helmet and facemask are too modern for Brown's era. Does anyone know if this really is Jim Brown? If not, who could this be? Pomp

Not Jim Brown. That looks like the uniform design they wore upon their return to Cleveland in 1999. #42 in 1999 was Terry Kirby. Edited on: Aug 19, 2018 - 9:33PM ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

Does it seem like an unreasonable expectation for a card company to know what Jim Brown looks like? ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
