The ONLY true way to know the answer is to find someone who pulled one of the same veteran card from both hobby and retail packs. Price point for what one seller wants for a card and what another seller wants for a card is not an accurate gauge. Many times I have bought a hobby card for the same or lesser price of what another seller wanted for a retail card and I'm talking about sets with obvious differences. I've also acquired hobby cards when it was supposed to be the retail version just b/c the other person didn't know the difference and just assumed they had the retail version. Knowing Pacific products and especially the Private Stock releases, I'm sure the veteran cards have no difference.
