1993 Classic Best Baseball Forum

I was excited to get the mail today and sort through my latest purchase of cards.  After I put everything in UltraPRO sleeves, put them in order, and transfer from "in transit" list to collection, I knew I'd be one card away from having all Cedar Rapids Reds.  My beloved local Minor League team from the 1982 - 1992 before they changed the name to the Kernels and affiliation to Angel's.  
 

Here I am about to screen shot the remaining one card needed, the Steve Gibralter MVP5, to share in a Facebook post.  Wait a minute!   This player played on the Cedar Rapids Reds team but this is NOT a Cedar Rapids Red's card!   So to my excitement, this means that the Reds part of my collection is complete! 

Now for part 2 of my collection.  1993 - 2013 the Cedar Rapids Kernels / California Angels.  Thankfully I got the Mike Trout cards when they were issued by the team in 2010.

I just looked at the card...shouldn't we change the team listed to Chattanooga Lookouts, since that's the team listed on the front?  I won't touch it without asking first, as I may be missing something.

Yes, it should be corrected.  It's clearly a Chattanooga Lookouts card.  It appears some of the others are listed as wrong teams also.

I thought you were going the other way with the story.....like what happened to me....I thought I had one card left to finish the set then I realized I had mad a mistake at some point and it was actually 2 cards I needed. Oh well :(
