I am now getting into opening all the boxes and packs I set aside over the years and have found something weird. I opened a Topps 2010 Baseball Series 1 12 Pack and I found a 2009 card #160 Evan Longoria, The card has a copyright year of 2010 and extra line at the bottom when compared to the scan of the card in Topps 2009 set. I couldnt tell if it has 2009 year in that scan even with magnifying glass.but it probably is 2009. Is this a known thing? Is it a variation or a correction of an error of the 2009 card?

Oh man, imagine if your mom threw out your 2009 Evan Longoria. That's how serial killers get started.

Man, if your mom's throwing out your cards year after year, you gotta find your own place!

All I have to say is watch out. Almost every year Topps put out one or more reprint sets into their packs so you are likely to run into this conundrum A LOT.

Tired and trembling I am descending, will I have to stay here and live this life again?

My life would be so much better if my Mom had thrown my cards out

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

How do they know it is a card that has been commonly thrown out by mothers across America? I can't imagine that poor child in 2009 who opened a pack of cards and then their mom just putting it to it's final resting place. Those moms are kicking themselves now when they see the cards they disposed of...

Thanks - TwinKiller. (Luke)

Wasnt Evan Longoria the actress in that slop "Desperate Housewives" that married a Spurs?
Why put a 2009 card in a 2010 insert set about thrown out cards? To mess with me, thats why.
