NOTICE: I've decided to make a slight change my trading approach.   I really don't have any interest in doing these large "player collection" trades anymore.  I'm a set collector and all my traders are stored by set (in nearly 100 3,200 count boxes).  It sometimes takes me hours to pull cards where someone is only looking for certain players.  Going forward, I will be rejecting these types of large trades.  I'm looking to help people complete their sets and vice versa.  A good rule of thumb when sending a trade proposal... think how many boxes will I have to pull from?  Sorry, but I hope you understand.  Craig

I’ve been collecting cards for over 47 years and have over 521,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  However, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will continue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards, I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

Recently went through all 14,000+ Baseball, Football, and Basketball cards. They sat untouched either in original set boxes or 9 card plastic sleeves for over 20 years. I may want to complete some baseball sets. Mainly looking to sell as my hobbies have changed though I am open to trades to complete some sets.

I have complete sets for sale.

1978 Looking for Bump Wills var card.

Starting on Topps Baseball 1977 as of 11/9/22. As of 02/18/23 the set is complete and I am just looking for upgrades about 9 cards left.

My 1966, 1968, 1969 Topps cards are in great shape! See my Feedback! Don't lowball! I will trade for good value in return. $$ talks too!

I am primarily a Topps baseball set collector trading for cards which (mostly) will be added to my personal collection...one that hopefully one day will be passed along to my kids to continue this awesome hobby.

I am currently reviewing the sets I have so I can list upgrades, so I will likely be adding to my wantlist frequently.

My biggest goals for right now are to finish my 72-76 base sets. Of course, I am always looking to add to my sets from years prior to that.

I am trying really hard to find several cards from the 2001 Fleer EX baseball set, including the Behind the Numbers inserts...only a few to go, but they just don't show up very often.

I have a good deal of cards from other sports, gaming, and non-sport genres to pass along.

I have no problem trading modern for vintage and vice versa, as long a the perceived value is pretty fair.

Lots of cards to trade/sell, message me if you are interested!

******** For all late 70s/early 80's cards on my Wantlist, I am looking to upgrade cards with bum corners, marks, wax stains, etc. I am looking for NM cards from this era in most cases. ************

Proud dad and husband. Priority: family and work, then cards.

Please send reasonable trade offers. I won’t send rare cards for base/common cards.

Please disclose any noticeable card damage before sending it to me so I can decide if I want it or not.

Sorry to my Canadian friends - no PWE trades to Canada.

PC: Greg Maddux, Jacob DeGrom, Ronald Acuna Jr., Kemp Alderman, Noble Meyer, Eury Perez, Cole Caufield, Cale Makar, Josh Norris, A&G minis, Pokemon

Almost any card in my main collection is FS/FT. I don’t want to bulk move all cards in the collection to my traders, but feel free to ask if interested in a card in my Main Collection.

I'm here for fun, this is my hobby and my escape from the day-to-day.

My collecting priorities are (1) pre-1980 Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns; (2) Other Cleveland players/teams; (3) other athletes that I find interesting (e.g., Clemente, Aaron, Dr. J., Bo and several other HOFs) and (4) the 1974 & 1975 Topps baseball sets.  This is pretty well reflected on my want list.

Open to any sized trades, but my strong preference is a simple one-stamp pwe in the 3-18 card range (each way).  I'm not a stickler on condition for cards that I'm receiving.  Generally speaking, if it's a card I'm looking for and it’s in one piece, I'm open to it.

I realize that many people do value the card condition much more than I do.  I do my best to make sure that the cards in my for sale/trade list don't have any major issues (creases, ink, etc.).  I'll pull cards before offering or accepting a trade.  If I notice an issue, I'll do my best to let you know in advance.  The older the cards, the greater the likelihood that they could be "well-loved".  I am more than willing to send/post pictures if requested.

Finally, for you set collectors out there, if I have several commons you are looking for but we don't have any matches, message me.  I'm sure I can find something on your FST and we can work something out.

I enjoy collecting football and baseball sets all major manufactures Topps, Fleer, Leaf, Upper Deck, Score (that all I can think of right now) 1970's to present,

I have also started a collection of my favorite NHL team the Nashville Predators.

Set building is my major goal condition is secondary. I do not mind a small crease or a rounded corner if a card is needed to complete a set.

I do not grade cards but I will let you know if a card has an obvious flaw before I accept the trade.

I do not mind PWE trades. I always ship in bubble mailers and with tracking if the budget permits. That is my personal preference I do not require or ask it to be yours.

Mostly vintage cards from my childhood. I have a large selection of cards from the 1970s for sale and/or trade. I am adding those cards to my for sale/trade list on a weekly basis.

Completing series from the 1970s in baseball, basketball and football are my main priorities. Condition desired is usually EX but am willing to discuss other options to complete sets.

I am particularly interested in completing basketball sets from 1969-70, 1970-71 and 1971-72.

Moved recently and thinned out my collection by about half. Cards are all packed away, my inventory is not accurate and I will not have time to do anything with my cards for the foreseeable future. Hopefully someday I'll have time to get back on the horse!

  • One of each Topps Cubs card ever produced, starting with base from 77-present - I've got a LONG way to go;-)

IN TRADES: I prefer to trade my dupes for cards I need from the same set or within a few years each way, but I do make trades all the time that violate that preference. Generally speaking, my cards are in pack fresh condition. I pack and ship carefully, and expect that we all do in this community. If a particular card of mine is NOT in pack fresh condition, I try very hard to note that with a condition indicator, and when possible, a note about what the defect(s) is(are). In these cases, comparable condition in return is of course acceptable. When making trades without those exceptions, I am looking for cards in the following conditions.

  • Pre 1975 - Probably would be ok with VG. Dinged corners acceptable, but not rips, tears, completely rounded corners, creases, or significant wax/gum stains. Centering no worse than 85/15.
  • 1975-1981 - OK with EX or better. No rounded corners, No creases, No gum/wax stains, no worse than 75/25 centering.
  • 1982-1991 - Has to be at least EX-MT. Centering 80/20 minimum.
  • 1992-present - Looking for NrMt or better.

I'm aware that we all judge our cards a bit differently, but I subscribe to the general notion that a card's "grade" should be based on the entire package, e.g. a 75/25 off center card could have scalpel sharp corners and great color, so might suffice as better than the off-center defect would hurt it. I own fewer than 10 slabbed/graded cards, so more interested in the card's aesthetic appeal than the grade it might receive.

Finally, trade value does not have to be even to the penny. I'd like to move my cards in which I am less interested into the hands of fellow collectors who would value tham more than I do, and I hope that those I trade with feel the same. As much as my heart wants Beckett to be the guide it was when I grew up in the early 80s, I tend to use sold comps from the prior 90 days on eBay where those comps exist to come up with value when necessary, but when trading commons, 1 for 1 generally works for me.

This is a hobby, and I am in it for the joy of collecting. It doesn't mean I wouldn't take some cash for a card that someone else will love more than I do, but "breaking even" is the ideal. When in doubt, shoot me a message and let's see what we can work out.

Thanks!

I live in Arizona now, but was raised and lived most of my adult life in the Chicagoland area, so I am a true blue Chicago sports fan!
After having taken many years away from card collecting, I've gotten back into it (finding TCDb was a huge perk!) and I'm finding my groove.
My collection focus is as follows:
1. I will always take Gary Bennett cards. (Currently, #1 TCDb collector of Gary - I played baseball with him growing up. Just fun to collect!)

2. I will always take Nico Hoerner cards - especially ones that I don't already have (Currently #1 TCDb collector).

3. I enjoy building sets:  I am trying to complete the 2021 Topps Gold parallel (with the /2021 on the back) set

4. If they are inserts that are on my want list, and I have something that you want, I'm sure we can make a deal.

5. I have numerous SP variations that I've decided to move - in return, I"m looking to acquire nicer Nico Hoerners or Nico autos.

I ship almost exclusively in PWE - unless its a large trade that warrants a padded larger envelope.

I am meticulous in packaging. Let me repeat, I am meticulous in packaging.
My process for packing cards is as follows:

Cards are penny sleeved. Then I cut 'cereal box like material' to fit the envelope I'm using. I then securly tape (w/ blue painters tape) the sleeved cards 'sandwiched' between 2 pieces of cardboard like material to 'protect' the cards. Lastly - and maybe the most important step, I write:  'Photos: Do Not Bend' on the front and the back of the envelope.
I've now completed nearly 300 trades (via TCDB and FB) without 1 single issue.

Ideal trade size is about 6-18 cards.

I typically try and stay within era, if possible.  However, I have an immense amount of 81' 82' and 83' Topps that I'm willing to trade cross era.
