In the second game of a double header on June 21, 1987, Bob went 3 for 4 with a walk, 3 runs scored, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs in a 13-3 win vs Oakland. He also had a four hit game in an 11-3 win vs. Cleveland on July 26, 1987, with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs.
