The first pack I ever opened. Just an enthusiastic little leaguer with no aims of completing a set, still have pages of these in old binders in random order. The borders will always be ingrained in my head!
This is the first set where I clearly remember buying pack after pack in hopes of landing the coveted Brien Taylor card. I didn't even care about the gold parallel or the scratch-off cards in the packs. Both my father and grandfather helped me collect the set, something I'll never forget.
The design is rather conservative but it isn't really bad.
