“ This is a rare example of a card that I bet I prefer the TCDB image to the card in hand. ” -jackal726
  2
“ A Wrastling card? I didn't know what to think of it with those skulls there. Thought it was some slightly cartoony horror or cult card with those skulls. ” -captkirk42

“ Probably looks cool in hand. Being lenticular, it can't be scanned well. I can't tell that it's Stone Cold, but definitely Kane on his back. ” -switzr1

“ And now he is making Tide cold call commercials. ” -freakizon

Set: 1949 Bowman (Rate)

Card: #33 Warren Spahn

“ The design in this would be pretty lame if the card wasn’t so old. Have to give it a pass because there wasn’t much of a standard set by 1949. Love Spahn too. ” -pugchump
  5
“ Sweet card. ” -captkirk42
  4
“ My father used to have this one, along with a few Babe Ruth cards, Willie Mays cards, Mantle, Dimaggio, Gehrig, the works. When he went off to fight in Vietnam, his mother, my grandmother, threw them away. I estimate that, together, over $750,000 worth of cards were lost that day. Very similar things happened to many kids who grew up around that time. ” -BigBoyOnWheels
  8
“ Now thats a card ” -parsley24
  1
“ PERFECT ” -jayoneill
  1

“ One of my favorite basketball sets ever. And I'm really not sure why. ” -switzr1

“ I don't like college cards, that's no secret, but I love the border design on this set. I actually completed it entirely through repacks over a span of 20 years. ” -Billy Kingsley
  1
“ Absolutely love the hardwood border. It really works much better for basketball than 87 Topps baseball for example. ” -hiflew

“ Classic crappy Classic design. 5th graders could do a better job. ” -hamrlik22
  1
“ Interesting choice for the front picture. Like the big photo on the back of the card. Classic cards are hit or miss. Some are awesome, while others are not that great. This one is pretty good. ” -yokonashiwa

Set: 2019 Bowman Draft - Draft Progression (Rate)

Card: #DPR-DET Alex Faedo / Casey Mize / Riley Greene

“ Couple of future stars there ” -pugchump
  3
“ I thought Casey Mize was going to make an immediate impact, however that has not been the case. I hope 2022 treats him better!!!! ” -tinyshogun

“ Ah, behold: THE FUTURE OF DETROIT. I hope Faedo comes off his surgery well. Greene and Mize are studs. I hate these 3 guy bowman cards. They always exclude someone (Manning, Torkelson...) or include someone who is not to the caliber of the other two (Faedo). ” -pjdionne12
  2
“ I like the concept of this insert. Should have had a number, not letters but other than that I like it. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ These progression cards will be interesting to look back at in 10-15 years or so. Because they might end up better named regression. ” -hiflew

  2
“ Considering Philly cap, wondering if this guy is a relative of the Tugger? To Google…or Baseball-Reference ;) ” -stevejrogers
  1
“ ^ Most likely not. Also Peninsula is a collegiate summer league franchises, so “Hmmmmmm” to them co-opting the Phillie P ;) Oddly enough, his first and final MLB games with the Cardinals, both in early May of 1997 were against Tug McGraw’s two teams. ” -stevejrogers
  3

Set: 1995-96 Jam Session - Fuel Injectors (Rate)

Card: #F5 Hakeem Olajuwon

“ I generally don’t like unusually-sized cards but I guess Olajuwon is the perfect subject for a “tall” card like this ” -pugchump
  8
“ This needs to be in my newly started Olajuwan collection! Currently at 10 cards! ” -TwinKiller
  6
“ This era was awful for cards. And basketball especially. ” -parsley24
  1
“ I dislike the fact that I can't sort my Jam Session cards with all my other cards, but they do play well for the NBA players, the majority of whom are nearing or over 7 feet tall. I'm down to one card needed to complete all three Jam Session base sets although still a ways to go on inserts. I don't have this one yet...Hakeem is I would say the greatest player born on the continent of Africa. ” -Billy Kingsley
  1
“ I used to love Olajuwon. He was definitely one of my favorites!!!!! ” -tinyshogun
  1
“ This card almost does justice to The Dream's 7'0" frame ” -nkandy11
  2
“ I have a lot of these cards. The odd size makes them a pain to trade away. ” -BigDaddy

“ I don't know why but the I've never been interested in anything larger than a tradional sized card. Probably a bit unfair of me really. ” -scottwalker29

“ Nice art, but I hate the shape/size. ” -muskie027

Set: 2012 Magic the Gathering Avacyn Restored (Rate)

Card: #119 Searchlight Geist

“ Looks like Greek to me ” -tinyshogun
  1
“ I bet you at least 50% of the people here when seeing this card will go to, "Hey! a 2/1 SN!" ” -TwinKiller
  2
“ "It rises with the fall of darkness, seeking souls to extinguish" If my ex-wife was a MTG card... zzzzziiinnggg! ” -jackal726
  5
“ Sounds like a powerful character. I would use it against the Squirtle. ” -switzr1
  2
“ I always thought the art on Magic cards should be on one side and the text all on another. The space for the art is so small. I guess that would hinder play though. ” -pjdionne12

“ The what now? ” -BuccaneersDen
