Or you gotta dislike the checklist upload. :(

Yeah, That just makes me think of what a cluster the insert sets from 2005 Absolute Memorabilia Baseball are, especially the Tools of the Trade sets. Where all the player names have notes in them.

If you are on a set's page or checklist, there is a Hall of Famers link on the left side. You can open it in a different page/tab without interrupting what you are doing. I know that's not the same as seeing HOF in the line, but it would be a massive undertaking to add HOF to the notes of every single card ever made of every single Hall of Famer in every sport. Plus, if the card does not say HOF on it, that should not be listed in the notes.
As for your second suggestion, I like that idea too. Even just telling me how many cards I own from that set (w/out clicking the link) would be an improvement.

I just went into the Crop Help section for the first time tonight. (Seriously, there are things I'm still learning about on here!) Several of the cards have been marked as low quality- but I have other cards from the set, and the scans are fine. They were just poorly made. I speak specifically of the Press Pass color proofs of Dave Blaney that are in the queue. Is there a way to change the marking to make them be accepted?

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Thanks. I'll try your HOF suggestion in the meantime. However, I don't think it would be as large of an undertaking as you're thinking. You wouldn't need to add it to notes of all the cards. You could do it via the dynamic coding for the page, so that as the code sets up to render the page and does its database lookups, it can cross-reference the names on the page witha look up to see if they are flagged in the appropriate table as a hall of famer. If so, display the designation.

Yesterday I added two checklists for the 2016-17 Upper Deck Hockey Compemdium set. They are the SP - Achievement and the SP - Achievement Magenta sets. I placed them under inserts but somehow that does not seem quit appropos. I should think that another item be added to the drop down list that item shoudl be Achievement. After all you had to collect the entire digital base set of Compemdium to get the SP - Achievement cards, also you had to collect the entire digital base magenta set to get the SP Achievemnt Magenta cards.
Thanks in advance.

If I understand the process you are describing correctly, Gunny, I would think that "Mail-In" would be an appropriate category for those sets. If the cards did not come in packs, then you are correct that "Insert" is not quite right. Any time that cards for a particular set are distributed via mail through some sort of redemption program, I categorize that set as "Mail In".

Another idea I thought I'd put out there is to allow for some dynamic entry based on entering a few values. What I'm getting bitten by is early 90's Hockey sets in this case. So, for example, for 1992-1993 Upper Deck, I have 3 sets of Card 1 through Card 440 (Low Numbers). The person that originally assembled the sets clearly didn't have the High Numbers portion that was sold seperately. So, for the database, there isn't a way to say "add low numbers" or "add high numbers", so I'm having to individually go through Card 1 - 440 and do the "Add Multiple" option.
My thought is: It would be nice if I could do something dynamic based on a couple fields to fill in. Like:
Add number XX through XX in the quantity of XX each, where the "XX" would be fields that the user could put in. Then click the submit button like you do for "Add All cards in this set" and off you go. Just a thought. Would save a great deal of time in this case. Thanks for reading.
