HI.
For Christmas, my lovely family bought me quite a few 1969 Topps baseball cards. Among them were two replacements for cards in poor condition. One is the 5th Series Checklist, with Mantle as the inset picture (#412). Nice corners, good gloss, but filled in in black pen on both sides (looks like prior owner had about 1/2 the 5th series, and felt the need to draw a line across the front, as well.). The other is Tom Seaver (#480). The two left corners look like a rat chewed them off. The rest of the card is vg/ex. I'm not near my scanner and am too lazy to scan them at the moment.
But is anyone interested in these? In the spirit of the season, and to repay many others who have been kind to me here, I shall send them for free.

V3, I'll gladly take them, or if someone wants the Mantle I'll just take the Seaver. I'm a Mays fan, what can I say?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |
