How does everyone feel about small trades. 1 to 5 cards. What you can fit into a PWE.
Due to the fact that my want list is tough. I have only 14 match alerts and I have made offers to all be 2 of them. (the 2 do not have want lists). Also find another 75 when I sort by my want list to others sale/trade list. 95% of them has only 1 or 2 cards.
I woulld hate to make 50 offers for 1 or 2 cards each if people do not want to go that way.

I've done close to 500 trades, over 400 on this site. I'd say 80% of them are 10 cards or less. I use photo mailers instead of PWE now, but that is the easiest and cheapest way to trade. My want list is getting small too, so larger trades just don't seem to happen any more for me.

I ship pwe trades every week either for this group or other groups I am in.
1-4 cards in smaller pwe, and 5-10 in longer pwe

I've sent and received as many as 25 cards in PWE. However many I send I use packing tape around the edges to keep envelopes somewhat safe from machines. So far no issues from those to whom I've sent such trades. I have received a couple of envelopes that somehow kept the cards inside them even though they were ripped. They hadn't been secured with tape on the outside.
I had been mailing small cards using bubble mailers, but the post office I go to now says I must pay package postage, so I stopped that practice.

Agreed, any trade is a good trade. Every card has meaning to someone. I welcome any size trade and how it is sent.
As for Sportzcommish's comments, the "Horror stories of shipping and the PO" could be another long thread.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Some of my best trades have been small. I don't even mind shipping cards that are worth less than the shipping costs. Trading with other collectors is one of the more enjoyable aspects of the hobby.

I am so new to this please excuse my ignorance but could you please advise me on what PWE means ? it was compared to photo mailer.
Like I said I am new at trading I collected Baseball, Basketball, Football and even quite a few Pokemon over 20 to 30 years ago, I would love to have been doing this for the entirity while supporting my family the guilt would've killed me.I recently learned what empty nest syndrome actually feels like on top of losing my Dad. I am excited to have the chance to hopefully sell most if not all of my collection .I already realize I'm going to be figuring what cards are .01 cent and what cards could possibly (hope to God) pay some debt down. Any help is greatly appreciated at least until I get this site figured out or some millionare needs a tax write off for the 10k plus cards.I know LOL
