So tomorrow morning I'm on a flight to San Fran for a week of training. My flight lands in SF at 930 in the morning. I was looking at hitting up the A's game that afternoon; knock another stadium visited off the list. I'll have a rental so I was going to park at the stadium, that is until I saw the price for parking was more than the price of a game ticket. For anyone in the Bay area, is there a recommended place off property that is good for parking?

For what it's worth, a friend of mine went to a Raiders game last week and took the train to the coliseum

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Might try that. I'm staying on the Oakland side of the Bay, Pineole to be exact. Got to be cheaper than $30

I've never been there, but he made it sound like the train had a stop at, or very near to, the stadium. I can text him and ask for sure.

That would be great, thank you. I've never been there myself and will probably be half-awake when I land (6am flight out of the East Coast).

If you ever need parking for an Orioles game, I know a sweet spot you can get with an app.

If you come to Houston's Minute Maid Park - you'll see the Astros tomorrow as they try to regain first from the A's - after 6 you can park for free at most meters. It'll be a walk of a couple of blocks. Or, you can eat at Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant (make a reservation) and take the shuttle to the game for free.

Are they playing it on the jumbo screen there? The game is in Oakland where I plan to attend. I am happy that I'll get to see the 'Stros, but no Altuve :(

If you can find a spot at or near any BART station, the BART train pulls up right across from the Coliseum. There's a walking bridge that then goes directly to the stadium.
But, the Coliseum is a dump. I'd rather watch a game (and have done so) at the minor league stadiums in Sacramento, Reno, or even Stockton.

I've heard the horror stories about the place, but I'll take the risk on the sewage. Wanted to hit up AT&T, but alas.... It still has to be better than sitting in a hotel lobby waiting on your room to be ready. I'll probably give the BART station a shot
