Thanks all.

You know, Billy, I likened this to running a marathon. I think there are two possible responses to completing one's first marathon: 1) Oh my god, I am never doing that again; and 2) I can do so much better than this; wait until next time; must run more. Alas, I fell into the latter category and ended up running 15 marathons.

I suspect that, before long, I'll be looking for another 1800s card to join Mr. Darling. Perhaps one with color....And another after that...

I bought that 19th century card of that ballerina a couple years ago, just to say I had one, and I haven't seen it since. I genuinely have no idea where that card went. ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I have a shelf in the office with about 20 cards on display. It's actually one of my lists here. So someone is getting demoted back to the binders -- probably my 1952 Monty Irvin -- and I will rearrange the others so the '87 (that's Eighteen87) will be the centerpiece. You know, until I get another 1800s card to nicely offset it...
